John Lennon je pesmu „Imagine“ komponovao na svom Steinway klaviru 1971. godine. Ovom pesmom je želeo da poruči da smo svi jedna zemlja, jedan svet, jedno čovečanstvo. U svim anketama našla se medju 100 najboljih pesama svih vremena, a magazin Rolling Stone je u svom izboru postavio na 3. mesto. Šta god napisao o ovoj pesmi, bilo bi suvišno i ništa novo. Jednostavno – remek delo!
